I'm Antonio Batley, and I've been working in the moving industry for over a decade. I spent years on other people's trucks, learning the trade from the ground up—loading, driving, navigating neighborhoods, and handling furniture that cost more than my first car. On May 20, 2021, I made the decision to do it under my own name.
The early days were what you'd expect for any new business — word-of-mouth, a few neighbors, a few referrals. We kept our heads down and focused on doing good work. In Richmond, that travels fast. People talk. If you show up late or rough up someone's furniture, the whole block knows.
